Wireless Security

Aruba Wireless Networks
Aruba's WLAN switches are the leading solution for enterprises that want to build a scalable and secure wireless LAN network. With support for up to 256 thin access points on a single WLAN switch, advanced intrusion detection and protection capabilities and user-aware stateful firewalls - they are the industry's only systems that can comprehensively secure enterprise WLANs.
AirWave

AirWave
The AirWave Wireless Management Suite software provides the enterprise IT and NOC staff a single console from which to monitor, manage, and control their wireless network infrastructure – providing full visibility to every user and device on the network. AirWave’s vendor-agnostic software manages hardware products representing 90%+ of the enterprise hardware market, including Cisco, Aruba, HP ProCurve, Symbol (Motorola), Trapeze, Meru, Proxim, 3Com, Enterasys, Nortel, Alcatel, Avaya, and many others. The software manages not only WiFi infrastructure but also mesh nodes, point-to-point solutions, and even WiMax.

The key components of the AirWave Wireless Management Suite include:

  • AirWave Management Platform™ (AMP) – Provides core management functions including real-time user and device monitoring, configuration and provisioning of infrastructure, software distribution, reporting and alerting, compliance auditing, and more.
  • VisualRF™ Module – Displays accurate location information for every device and user connected to the wireless network, as well as fully integrated heatmaps and channel maps depicting RF coverage patterns.
  • RAPIDS™ Rogue Detection Module – Uses a combination of wired and wireless methods to detect alert IT to unauthorized ‘rogue’ APs, wherever they are located on the network.
  • AirWave Master Console™ -- Provides a single console for management when the AirWave software is distributed across multiple servers to manage global networks with tens of thousands of access points and controllers. Failover servers are optional for high-availability environments.
